About Us

Compassionate care, expertly delivered.

California Colon & Rectal Cancer Screening Center is a specialty gastroenterology practice serving the Central Valley with a singular mission: to protect our patients' health through early detection and expert preventive care.

Welcoming, light-filled interior of our Fresno gastroenterology clinic

Our Story

Rooted in the Central Valley, focused on what matters most.

Our practice was founded on the belief that great gastroenterology care should be accessible, comfortable, and rooted in genuine relationships. We chose to focus on colon cancer screening and digestive health because early detection truly does save lives — and because the patients of the Central Valley deserve specialists who treat them like neighbors, not numbers.

Today, our team of three board-certified physicians, supported by experienced nurses and clinical staff, provides expert screening colonoscopies, diagnostic procedures, and gastrointestinal care to thousands of patients each year — all from our welcoming Fresno facility on N Whitney Ave.

What We Stand For

The values that shape every patient interaction.

Compassion

We treat every patient with empathy and dignity. Procedures that may feel intimidating become routine when you're cared for by people who truly listen.

Excellence

Our physicians are board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology — and we invest in the latest HD imaging technology and clinical protocols.

Prevention

We believe the best treatment for colon cancer is preventing it in the first place. That's why we focus relentlessly on accessible, comfortable screening.

Integrity

We tell you what you need to know, recommend what we'd recommend to our own families, and always put your health ahead of any other priority.

Your Experience

You'll receive detailed, easy-to-follow preparation instructions tailored to your specific procedure. Our nurses are available by phone if you have any questions during prep.

  3. 3

    The day of your procedure

Most procedures take 15–30 minutes. With twilight sedation, you'll be comfortable throughout. Plan to be at the facility for about 1.5 hours total, including recovery.

    Recovery and follow-up

You'll wake up gently in our recovery room. A responsible adult should drive you home, where you can rest comfortably. Your physician will discuss findings with you and follow up with biopsy results if applicable.
